Biscuits are preferable for any one and at any times of the day. The taste increases when the biscuit is made at home by oneself. The recipe is very simple and requires about 20 to 25 minutes to prepare the biscuits.
To prepare all the ingredients, you need 10 minutes and baking requires about 15 minutes.
Flour 1.5 cups
Caster sugar ½ cup
Custard powder ½ cup
Vanilla essence 1 tea spoon
Milk ¼ cup
Butter (preferably low fat) 100 to 120 grams
Almonds 30 grams
To make the vanilla biscuits, you have to heat the oven with the temperature of 180 degree Celsius. Pour the baking powders on the biscuit making trays. Take a bowl and pour the flour and custard powder together. Stir them adding some sugar. Do not soak the ingredients with any liquid. Mix the butter on the paste and nudge with your fingertips. Now add the vanilla essence and milk on the paste and stir until it forms like dough. Pour the soft dough on the biscuits trays. Spread the dough on the tray using a spoon if they do not spread automatically and keep some gaps between each of the biscuit shapes. You need to bring the biscuit shapes into an equal level and for that forks are very useful. Add the almonds on the combo and press lightly to get attached with the biscuit tray. Then bake them for 15 minutes. The biscuits are ready!!
